The cluster, which previously operated without a legal form, will be further strengthened in its ability to promote co-operation and support societal decision-making.

The board of the association consists of Simo Säynevirta (ABB), Rasmus Teir (Wärtsilä), Heidi Bergman (Neste), Marko Janhunen (Gasgrid), Arto Kuusinen (CGI), Tuukka Hartikka (Helen), as well as Vice Chair Satu Sipola (Fortum) and Chair Herkko Plit (P2X Solutions).

"The need to promote the hydrogen economy has become increasingly important as Finland's economic growth has stagnated, international interest in hydrogen has increased, and the geopolitical situation has intensified. Hydrogen is a truly great opportunity for Finland, but it requires swift action from all of us to enable investment in Finland," said Chairman Herkko Plit.
