Flexens declared bankrupt
Flexens Oy Ab, developer and owner of Flexens Kokkola green ammonia project, declared bankrupt on June 2, 2025. The bankruptcy estate is now looking for a buyer for the Flexens Kokkola SPV shares.

Flexens Oy Ab filed for bankruptcy on 27 May 2025. The District Court of Helsinki declared Flexens Oy Ab bankrupt on 2 June 2025 and appointed attorney Pauliina Tenhunen from Castrén & Snellman Attorneys Ltd to act as the administrator of the bankruptcy estate.
Flexens was a project development and investor focusing on designing, implementing and integrating sustainable and flexible energy systems based on renewable energy sources. Flexens's core capabilities in system integration and sector coupling were utilised to create the multi-technology assets that are needed to make the renewable energy transition possible.
The bankruptcy estate is now looking for a buyer for the Flexens Kokkola SPV shares in a liquidation process organised by the estate.
