Finland’s first hydrogen refuelling station has opened in Jyväskylä by Cefmof Hydrogen. The station is currently used, for example, by the hydrogen buses operated by Jyväskylän Liikenne in the city.

BotH₂nia association is organising a visit to the hydrogen refuelling station on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in connection with the Tested by Jamk event. At the hydrogen refuelling station, Jouni Laitinen, Program Manager responsible for Cefmof’s RDI cooperation, will present the station’s operations, share experiences, and discuss future plans.

Departure at 14:15 from JAMK (Rajakatu 35, 40200 Jyväskylä). Return to JAMK by 15:30.

BotH₂nia association is building a hydrogen economy encompassing the entire BotH₂nia Hydrogen Valley, formed by the hydrogen industry, its subcontractors, research and educational institutions, and other stakeholders. BotH₂nia ry organises events related to the hydrogen industry, shares industry-related knowledge digitally, promotes the Hydrogen Valley, and facilitates dialogue among network members. BotH₂nia ry is open to companies interested in the hydrogen industry, commercial hydrogen project developers, R&D actors, educational organisations, investors, municipalities, cities, and public administration in Finland and internationally.
